Scope and Content

The Storm King Art Center newsletters contain text and images regarding exhibition openings, member events, public programs, awarded grants, site and sculpture developments, recent acquisitions, changes to the Board of Trustees, staffing changes, operational changes, and recommended books and exhibitions related to Storm King artworks, artists, and site.

Notes

Beginning in 1978, Storm King Art Center newsletters were mailed to “Friends of Storm King” members and noted acquisitions, operational information, and exhibition highlights. Increased audience and funding led to educational, family, and outreach programs. The newsletter series ended in 2009.
