Puryear has described this model for an unrealized project as a “tube within a tube.” The work was to be constructed using standard building parts, including the largest size of steel pipes available, measuring approximately two feet in diameter. Puryear envisioned that the component parts would be welded together and then galvanized.

The proposed site for the work was the corner of a sloping street in San Francisco. By situating the work up on an elevated plinth, Puryear intended for viewers to encounter work from below even when they walked up to it.
