John Knight Oral History

John Knight's 87º (1997–99) is a site specific work comprised of binoculars and the view seen through their lenses. In his interview, Knight discusses the industrial and philanthropic forces that shaped Storm King, and describes his decision to direct the viewer to a rounded water tower just south of Storm King’s property.
