The first full-scale museum exhibit of Ursula von Rydingsvard’s work was presented by at Storm King in 1992, and provided her the opportunity to create new outdoor work in response to the landscape. In this interview, she describes building and refining work onsite, and the experience of re-siting sculptures in new locations.
