Mirror Fence, 2003 (refabricated 2014) arrived in 2010 for the exhibition 5 + 5: New Perspectives, and was acquired and refabricated a few years after. In this interview, Shotz discusses the concepts of private property and landscape that informed the work’s creation, and details the decisions around refabricating the work in materials better suited for outdoor wear.
